Washington Professional Systems is seeking applicants for the position of Audiovisual Systems AutoCAD Engineer/ Draftsman at our Mt Laurel, NJ office. The ideal candidates should be knowledgeable of video and audio cable routing, switching and signal processing. Experience with AutoCAD required. Knowledge of room control systems (Crestron/AMX), DSP based processing systems and teleconferencing systems preferred but not required, training can be provided after employment. Experience with the construction industry submittal process preferred.
Qualifications:
- Experience with video signal circuitry layout (analog and digital)
- Experience with audio systems and associated hardware (analog and digital)
- Experience with video projection systems and associated hardware
- Experience with projection integration engineering & calculations
- Experience reading construction drawings and producing submittal drawings and schematics
- Experience in Networking & IT for video, audio, processing & control systems engineering and integration
- Experience in Teamwork environment
Requirements:
- AutoCAD Proficient
- Discipline and self-motivation to meet deadlines and produce a high quality and accurate work product
- Knowledge of video and audio cable routing, switching and digital signal processing
- Able to read audiovisual, electrical and facility design schematics
- Ability to produce audiovisual systems submittal drawings & documents
- High School Diploma, College graduate preferred
- ICIA/ NICET Certification preferred but not required, training can be provided after employment.
- Strong computer skills
